The Tall Girls Host Happy Hour to Benefit the Alzheimer’s Association
Thank you to all who attended our first Tall Girls Design Happy Hour! On Tuesday, September 20th friends and family joined us at The Well Bar and Grill in Orchard Park as a fundraiser in support of our Walk to End Alzheimer’s team. A great time was had by all who attended and our team raised over $300 towards the walk. Guests feasted on pizza and wings, and took their chances in raffles for prizes donated by Creative Storage, Lockwood’s Nursery, Patrick Joseph Salon and Alta Notecards.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s takes place on Saturday, September 24th in Delaware Park. More information can be found at the Alzheimer’s Association, WNY Chapter website. If you are interested in donating to the Tall Girls team, please visit this link.
Now On Board!
Tall Girls Design is please to announce the appointment of Debbie Oberg to the Board of Directors of the Heritage Centers Foundation.
The Heritage Centers Foundation serves as an advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities by securing community support on behalf of the children and adults served through Heritage Centers. The Foundation provides resources for vast and essential “quality of life” programming, which are not otherwise publicly funded. The Executive Director of Heritage Centers along with its Board of Directors identifies the agency’s needs, which can be met in whole or in part by the Foundation.
Across New York State, approximately 124,000 residents have developmental disabilities; and in Erie County there are nearly 8,000 of these individuals in need of appropriate services and programming.

The Tall Girls See Red!
We were honored and excited to sponsor the American Heart Association in their Go Red for Women campaign. The kickoff luncheon was held on Thursday May 12th at the Buffalo Niagara Marriott included a purse auction, vendors, wellness screenings, networking, speakers and of course lunch! We were even able to have our blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose screened as we waited. Women from all over WNY came together, wearing red as a sign of support, to learn more about the fight against their number one killer, heart disease.
